1st day of January sale all the guest ales gone up lol good staff its fine in there and was able to ask about getting the new stout made to the old NBC recipe

so relaxed in there completely missed the last bus chatting with a local Camra guy about pubs and beer lol
Moorhouse's - Black Panther | 4.80 | | Very tasty and full bodied off white lasting head sometimes they even leave the sparklers off. |
Marston's - Purkmistr Bohemian Schwarzbier | 4.80 | | Deceptively easy drinking dark ale lots of flavour thin biege lasting head laced glass. didn't drink like 4.8% I know it had saaz hops but czech hops have been imported by English brewers from before World War 2. I happily drink this again not that I am like to get the chance. |
Cains - Fine Raisin Beer | 5.00 | | On gravity little hear in my half but decent carbonation all the same raisins in the nose would love this with a decent cheese or fruit cake come to that |
