Holden's - Horn Dance | 4.10 | | Pale bitter with excellent fruity hop character and good malt balance. My score 16/20. |
Salopian - Kremlin | 4.10 | | Very pale with assertive hop bitterness but also some malt balance. Dry, hoppy finish. My score 15/20. |
Beachy Head - Legless Rambler | 5.00 | | Slight haze, aroma of rubber, very bitter taste with definite phenolic taints. Almost undrinkable. My score 5/20. |

Burley Street Brewhouse - Blonde | 4.10 | | From the Fox & Newt brewpub in Leeds, this was a quite malty but bitter pale golden ale. My score 15/20. |
Six Bells - Noggin | 4.20 | | Very pale and bitter with a dry, hoppy finish. My score 14/20. |

Very busy Saturday afternoon for the 2nd Superfest event in conjunction with the Wetherspoons International beer festival.
Elland - Top of the Hops | 4.30 | | Pale and yes you've guessed it, full of hops, more fruity than bitter ones with good malt balance to give a pleasant easy drinking beer. My score 16/20. |
Abbeydale - Chocolate Stout | 4.50 | | Excellent mix of chocolate and roast malt flavours with good hop character. Dry, roasty finish. My score 16/20. |
Weltons - Headless Horseman | 6.00 | | Strong stout packed full of roast malt flavours with a good hop balance. My score 16/20. |
Salopian - Blackwater Jailbird | 4.60 | | Strong pale ale with excellent citrus hop character. Dry, hoppy finish. my score 15/20. |
Willoughby - Peace keeper | 3.80 | | Pale and rather hazy, some hoppiness and a bitter finish. My score 14/20. |
Abbeydale - Beer Works Dr Morton's Corpse Nailer | 4.10 | | Very pale, very hoppy and very dry with a citrus hop finish. My score 14/20. |
Kelham Island (probably brewed by Thornbridge now) - North | 4.00 | | Darker bitter than usual, mid brown/red, quite bitter with a dry finish. My score 14/20. |
Keltek - Trystan's Triumph | 4.50 | | Dark bitter, ruby/brown in colour with a mainly bitter tatse without much balance. My score 13/20. |

Ringwood - Filly Drift | 4.70 | | Malty red ale with rather a cloying sweetness and a vineous finish. Barely perceptible hop character. My score 14/20. |

Nethergate (was Nethergate Growler for a while then name reverted) - Essex Beast | 6.20 | | Dark brown strong ale with a real malty kick. Some fruity hoppiness in there as well leaving a dryish finish. |

Weltons - Swift Half | 4.10 | | Well balanced good session bitter. The pumpclip states simple maths: A swift half = 5 pints. My score 15/20. |
Weltons - Same Again | 4.30 | | Not this one. Very bitter with a harsh phenolic (TCP) taste dominating. My score 11/20. |
