14 Jun 2013 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening. Lively and engaging bar staff. Far too many "Available soon" pump clip crowners - VERY irritating and meaningless for a customer NOW.

27 May 2013 (Alenomore)
11:00 visit. Came to sunny Margate for the annual Bank Holiday Meltdown. Marine Parade, from the clocktower to Turner Contemporary, was sectioned off for the 100's of bikes arriving. An impressive sight that brought back the "glory days" of Margate, but this Wetherspoons was fairly empty at this time. Some good ales noted, but for us non imbibers, £1.80 for small coke was ludicrous?

04 Jul 2012 (Philip Pirrip)
Madness! Where have all the Margate daytrippers and holidaymakers gone. A midsummer's night and virtually nobody promenading and the pub was lightly populated.
Whitstable - Kentish Reserve | 5.00 | | The second one out was slightly cooler and better condition. At £2.15 pp for a 5% flavoursome local ale perhaps the best value in Kent |

22 Mar 2012 (Blair)
Arrived at the train station to find we had a 35 minute wait until the next train so jogged here for a quick night cap. It was 11.40 so it wasn't very busy, in fact I can't remember the last time I saw this place busy.
Caledonian - Coffee Porter | 4.30 | | I was tipsy by this stage so can't remember much other than really liking this. |
27 Oct 2011 (Blair)
Wow it's been a long time, still nothing changes. Fair few in, but looks like they've lowered their prices so no surprise. £3.90 for 3 pints using our camra tokens, we'll have to come more often.
Tring - Pudding Porter | 4.50 | | Fruity, chocolatey porter. In great condition, a really nice beer. |

02 Apr 2010 (Martin the Mildman)
Quite busy with pre festival goers before the Planet Thanet festival.
Whitstable - Faversham Creek | 3.80 | | Very good bittersweet taste with good hoppiness being balanced by biscuity maltiness. Refreshing hoppy finish. My score 16/20. |
