My reason for being in the Second City today! A new venue, a short walk from the market area, Bull Ring centre and the Hippodrome area. Much better than the old Aston University building. With over 200 ales on, and many were new breweries, one was spoilt for choice...Recommended.

The pub is found in Birmingham, West Midlands, B5 6LT.

For 2010, a new venue as the old Aston University building had reached it's limit. This larger venue, called the Second City Suite, on two levels, has far more capacity. A short walk from the markets, Bull Ring Centre and the Hippodrome area. LocAles, Cider and Vegan ales on the ground floor with the main bar for all other ales on the second floor. Over 200 ales, many new and rare types, and all served in top condition. Plenty of seating and tables. Hot/Cold food, daytime and evening live music and Morris Dancing kept the large crowds, on both levels, entertained. Recommended.

We have visited this pub once, seen 17 different beers and tried 15 of them.
