Quite busy on a Sunday lunchtime with blokes all probably waiting for theit wives to cok their Sunday roast. We sat in the yard and Isabel got hyped up on lemonade like you did as a kid in the 70's

We'd planned on going to the Three Crowns as it was closer but half the pub was reserved for a private party and anyway all they had on was GK-IPA and Tribute. Now I like Tribute but it's becoming as prevalent as London Pride. I know that shouldn't matter but it does. Anyway the Black Boy was packed in the garden. Everyone seemed to know everyone else and the ages ranged from about 5 to 75. A game of garden-Jenga started which was quite interesting to watch. Jane spotted someone she thought see knew but couldn't quite place. Either it was someone she'd gone to school with or the tall one from East 17. He left before we could find out so we'll never know.

I was the first person in. The motor racing was on the TV in the corner so I sat and watched that for a bit.

Lunch time session. Fairly busy with a few people having sunday lunch and a pint. There was a good fire and the feel of a drinkers pub to this place. Friendly too.
