A good collection of locals at the bar on Saturday lunchtime. Much of the conversation relating to horse racing (about which I could contribute nothing).

The pub is found in Warminster, Wiltshire, BA12 9QP.

Highly traditional, edge of town pub. There is a small snug at the front and a larger, separate bar that has a games room a few steps down at the rear. Some outside seating, and I believe there is also a skittle alley. Winner of the local CAMRA Branch ‘Pub of the Year’ for 2012. At the time of writing (September 2012), this pub has close links with the nearby Wessex Brewery.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
