17:30 visit. Found directly opposite the Wahl Bar and JD's, this cavernous place was quite busy at this time, with a full range of half decent ales on. Worth a look. Current 2013 gbg and 8 times previously in; 1998/2002-4/7/8/11/2

Found on the Wilmslow Road, Fallowfield, a grand old Victorian mansion pub. Owned and run by Hydes, a modern, multi-area, open plan type, served by a large horseshoe bar. More space to the rear plus a separate building serving Oriental food.
