Sunday midday and a light trade. A very pleasant place to pass an hour. I did not record all the beer names.

Wild Beer Co. - Jambo!8.50ExceptionalAlthough I thought I was ordering a cask beer, this had a good carbonation and may have been from a keg of some kind. Pitch black and obviously strong – this is an Imperial Stout. A hint of sourness, plenty of chocolate tastes and masses of raspberry flavouring. Superb.
Mad Squirrel (formerly Red Squirrel) - Berkhopsted (2017)4.20GoodA hazy, golden Green Hop beer. Only my second of such beers this season. Very fresh. An unusual but not unpleasant taste.

12:00 Having had a ride on the Metropolitan from Baker Street to Amersham our group of six came here for our first pint of the day. We were first in at the 12:00 opening. Very nice mix of micropub and bottle shop. Red Squirrel beers £2.50 a pint.

Evening. Blimey I was giving up with Chesham and then this was hidden behind an 8 feet high fence whilst culvert streetworks take place - bad for business or what. Thought I had found an oasis but had missed 2000 hours closing time. Kind offer of a take out was not accepted. Red Squirrel beers on tap plus I could see some Signature Brew ones too.

A very pleasant little bar – and with beer at £2:25 a pint, you cannot complain. I also left rather laden with bottles.

The pub is found in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 1ES.

A new venture for Red Squirrel Brewery, established in 2013. The building is right on the Market Square and was earlier a pub called the Globe; and this marks a welcome return to ‘pub’ use for the premises. Actually, it is not really a pub at all but a beer shop, selling an excellent range of bottled beers, supplemented by a neat little bar selling draught Red Squirrel beers, guests and cider. Keeps more like shop (not pub) hours. Beers are served from a tiled wall behind the bar with 10 taps (4 cask ales, 4 craft keg beers, 1 sparkling cider, 1 still cider) all dispensed via an air compressor. Re-named Mad Squirrel from Red Squirrel when the brewery changed names.

We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 12 different beers and tried 6 of them.
