Evening venue for a CAMRA's Revitalisation Project Consultation Meeting. Good to see and hear so many active enthusiastic members with their strong views being put forward. Other beers details lost in this website's server crash.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Southwark - Potters' Fields Porter4.00AcceptableAverage condition. With low Progressive Beer Duty and zero transport costs the price was exorbitant
Southwark - Mosaic5.00AcceptableHazy and flattish. With low Progressive Beer Duty and zero transport costs the price was exorbitant
Southwark - Druid Brew Thrice Hopped Pale Ale4.90PoorFlat as a pancake, unappetising. With low Progressive Beer Duty and zero transport costs the price was exorbitant

Busier than I have seen this bar before, and it turns out that it is Pub Quiz night.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Southwark - Galaxy5.00ExcellentA hazy golden colour. The beer has obvious strength. I really like Galaxy hops, and this is full of them. A really good showcase for the hop variety.

Evening until nearly midnight. Very hospitable location for a second consecutive SE London branch CAMRA AGM here. The warm rolls with choice of beef brisket or pork were almost too full to handle!!

Brewery bar regularly open on Friday evenings I think. A small gathering of staff, friends and local workers are present when I arrive.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Southwark - Harvard (superseded by 5.5% version)6.50AcceptableLight, hoppy beer in barely acceptable, warm and tired condition. Not showing this brewery’s products to best advantage I thought.

The brewery bar is opening here at 11am on Saturdays and all four handpumps were in action today when I visited just before 12. Only a couple of other customers at this time – word still spreading about this brewery I think. Beer much better than on my first visit.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Southwark - Harvard (superseded by 5.5% version)6.50ExcellentGolden, with bitter US hops. Just my thing.
Southwark - Gold5.20GoodGolden, full-bodied and bitter. Both UK and US hop flavours present.

Advertised first opening for this new brewery venture. In truth they are not really ready. The brewing equipment is still being welded together as we watch and today’s beers have been brewed on a pilot kit. The cask beers were only racked last night and have not settled. A promising development though and nice to meet the people involved.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Southwark - LPA London Pale Ale4.00AcceptableYellowish-gold in colour. Citrusy. But this pint unsettled and yeasty.
Southwark - Peter's Stout8.90AcceptableFrom a bottle. A very thick, black Imperial Stout. A bit lacking in carbonation.
