Just about my favourite pub in Folkestone now. Supporting the Cask Ale week as well with a dozen different beers over the week. I really like it here.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00ExcellentJust a touch of green apple, but plenty of Harvey's house yeast and good bitter hops on the finish.
Hepworth - Pullman First Class Ale4.20GoodDeepish gold, lasting bubbly white head. Quite a nice bitter, some good yeast, very nice hop on finish. Biting. Moderate body with a surprisingly good bitterness on the finish.

Whinger had suggested I come here and try it out and I loved it. Quiet, an oasis of calm just off the High Street. Real log fire, lovely lights, excellent barman and soft Classic FM wafting round the room.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00ExcellentAlmost perfect. House yeast aroma, some hop, some toffee malt, perfect carbonation in mouth, good lasting sting on the finish. What a bitter should be like.
