16 Nov 2012 (Alenomore)
18:30 visit. Lull before the Friday crush at this time. Virtually back to bog-standard ales now, but, not surprisingly, a b/f ale that I still need to sample is "coming soon"?

08 Nov 2012 (Alenomore)
14:30 visit. Busy enough with curry club on. One new ale here today and only the fifth change since last Saturday here. Waiting for new ales to appear in this place is akin to waiting for emergency dental treatment! It'll be worth the wait when the time comes....
BeerABVScoreNotes
St Peter's - Fruit Beer3.60ExcellentLovely. Very pronounced, zest, citrusy notes from the grapefruit.
Box Steam - Ghost Train4.80ExcellentA new ale. In good condition. Very refreshing.
Harviestoun - Wild Hop Gold4.00ExcellentThe ale of the day here. One of Harvietouns better efforts.
Mordue - Lubelski4.50ExcellentVery good.
Exmoor - Fox4.20GoodI'm sure this should be better than this pint. Nothing of note.
Black Wolf (formerly Traditional Scottish Ales (TSA)) - Silver Mist4.00GoodHas a certain something going on here. Very dry I thought.Sampled another pint to check out this unique taste from this Scottish brewer.

06 Nov 2012 (Alenomore)
14:30 visit. Three new ales spotted today. Three pints ordered due to very slow service with too many bod's wanting tea/coffee?
BeerABVScoreNotes
Oakleaf (now see Fallen Acorn entries) - Liberty Boat5.00ExceptionalAnother top ale. Pronounced and lingering bitter finish. Ale of the day.
Mordue - Lubelski4.50ExcellentMuch better. Full flavoured, aromatic, with these unique hops
Black Wolf (formerly Traditional Scottish Ales (TSA)) - Silver Mist4.00GoodOdd but pleasant, dry taste. Typical TSA.

03 Nov 2012 (Alenomore)
19:00 visit. Even quieter tonite in this, the towns first JD. One new ale noted.
BeerABVScoreNotes
White Horse - War Horse4.90ExceptionalWhat a lovely ale. Dark, full flavoured, with very pronounced caramel and toffee notes. Top condition here tonite for this new ale.
JW Lees (see also Lees) - Moonraker6.50ExceptionalThe lovely young and very knowledgable serving wench was very keen for me to try this. She was enthusiastic and able to describe each ale on tonite. Not often you meet a woman this young who know's there ales! This sample, as per Mr Pirrips' notes, is a stonker of an ale. Top condition here with a lovely clinging frothy head. Always good to sample this one.
St Peter's - Fruit Beer Grapefruit4.70ExcellentI tried to "convince" the lovely young serving wench that this is an excellant breakfast tipple. She was not impressed...
