We came for dinner and the fish and chips were great. Very popular pub and very good friendly efficient service.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fernandes - Hawklord5.00AcceptableVery dark brown/black, lasting dark beige head. Caramlelly dark ale. Decent. Not normally my kind of beer, lots of caramel but then dryish choc finish. Leaves good flavour in the mouth of darkish choc.

The pub is found in Ockbrook, Derbyshire, DE72 3SE.

The pub looks quite small from the front, but then widens out into several rooms, including a snug, smallish bar area and function room, used by many societies and groups. Couple of beer gardens and attractive front round off a pleasant village pub.

We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 1 of them.
