12:50 The description read well in Bob's book so I diverted off the Soho walk to come her. Pseudo Victorian but done well. I like the booths on the left hand side. Sadly when we went to sit in one I was unable to comfortably fit between the bench and the table. The years of dedicated beer drinking have taken their toll. My plight gave my wife much amusement.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Badger (Hall & Woodhouse) - Leaping Legend4.80AcceptableDescribed by the barmaid as a citrus tasting beer. I found it to be malty and full of sugar. Typical Hall & Woodhouse.
Badger (Hall & Woodhouse) - Tanglefoot (was 4.9%)4.70Not Tried

Moderately busy in the mid-evening. Only a pub for 20 years, the Thomas Hardy theme to the décor here is unusual for London.

Due to the narrow rooms in this pub, it felt fairly busy, with some customers spilling out onto the street. Nice enough pub.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hall & Woodhouse (see and use Badger entries) - Hofbrau HB Export4.30AcceptableNow, I know we don't normally have lager on the site, but this one was very good. Golden colour with no head, goodish lager with good balance. Some lemon and hop on the finish
