Another pub with a small beer festival, although most of the ales on stillage had gone by this time.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Camerons - Russell's Mild (2012 recipe)2.80GoodReduced in strength to fall in the lower tax bracket. Unfortunately this has compromised the taste of the beer which is a thin shadow of its former self. Didn't help by being served too cold here. My score 15/20 with B for quality.
20 May 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
Qite a few sunday diners in.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Muirhouse - Magnum Mild4.50ExcellentFull bodied black strong mild with chocolate malt to the fore and very little hoppiness. Dry, malty finish. My score 16/20.
13 May 2011 (Martin the Mildman)
Busy with extra beers on stillage for the Mansfield Road Holy Gr-Ale event.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Coppice Side - Tudor Rose5.20GoodWheat beer with added fruit to give a hazy red colour. Fruity with some citrus hop notes. My score 15/20.
