Large beer festival on the Knavesmire. Well organised and well attended by all ages, male and female.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Dark Star - Winter Meltdown5.00GoodGolden brown spicy beer. The addition of ginger makes for an interesting taste and nose. Quite drying but decent beer.
Ilkley - Black3.70GoodNear black dark mild with bitter roasted malts. Smooth and mellow.
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Browne4.30GoodRuby coloured beer with great body. Floral fruity nose and fruits stay long in the mouth. Decent.
Silver Brewhouse (formerly Raw) - Apollo Summer Bitter3.80GoodLight amber in colour. Hoppy with citrus in the finish. Not drying for a hoppy bitter. Good stuff.
Rudgate - Farmers Harvest3.90GoodPale hoppy floral bitter. Sessionable but a bit plain. Not at all complex.
Haworth Steam - WD Austerity3.80AcceptableBlonde beer with some understated hoppy undertones. However very watery body and quite flat. Not great.
