Busy in here on Easter Sunday lunchtime, with a good mix of roast dinner-seekers, newspaper readers, dog walkers, ramblers and a contingent from the Bradfield Brewery itself.

A stone-built country pub, three or four miles west of Sheffield, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. This pub is accessible from Sheffield via a very pleasant walk along the Loxley Valley, or by bus 61 from Hillsborough Interchange, and stands just below the Darnflask Reservoir. It is the brewery tap for the nearby Bradfield Brewery. There are two bars and real fires.
