Surprisingly not the first visitor at 11.50 due to a few well dressed folk gathering before heading off to a wedding nearby. Friendly and welcoming basic locals pub.

Saturday lunchtime and there were only 2 other customers, both sitting at the bar. The non-pool table side of the pub was full of interesting things to look at and in general, I liked this pub. There were 4 handpulls with 2 badged up but turned around. One for the reversed clips was clearly Adnams.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Badger (Hall & Woodhouse) - Flowers Original (subsequently contract brewed at Brains)4.40AcceptableClean, clear chestnut coloured best bitter. Sweet malt with a sharp bitter bite on the end. Perfectly fine.
