Evening. Another pub I have passed since aged 11 but never entered before. Pleasant surprise to see a good real ale and cider offering.

The pub is found in New Cross, Greater London, SE14 6AS.

Large basic one roomed pub with a high bar counter on the right towards the rear. Attractive original external signs. Not to be confused with the New Cross House opposite. Popular live music venue with its own stage. 6 handpumps which usually include 2 ciders. Very late opening every night except Sunday. Operates an unusual before and after 8pm pricing policy and has a happy hour between 7 and 8 on Monday to Thursday evenings. Basement bar added in summer 2016.

We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 1 of them.
