According to What Pub this place should have been closed but with Locale available durin opening times. The good news is that it was open but no local ales. I was ignored by the staff and left.

Early afternoon. The front bar was empty save for us. There was a group of walkers who disappeared into the back room. 4 pumps but only 2 beers on.

It's been a few years since I've been here. Really like what's been done with the place, it's got a really bohemian alternative vibe.

This pub has changed a lot since my last visit, modernised throughout, and very comfortable. The mauve walls have gone. This pub was recommended to me by the people at the Berry for a well kept pint.

Interesting pub if for nothing else than it's mauve walls. There were a handfull of men sitting around the bar and it went quiet as we walked in. After we bought a drink everyone started talking again. I quite liked the pub. The glasses we were served in were oversized too.
