We came for dinner. The pub is owned by the same people as the Great House in Hawkhurst. The food was excellent.

The pub is found in Chiddingly, East Sussex, TN21 0JU.

Located in Gun Hill this is a beamed seventeenth century building, at one time the local courthouse, once having an inglenook which is now part of the seating area. Very food oriented with a small bar at the main entrance which has several rooms leading from it which are laid for dining.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
