Visits Details

14 Jun 2015 (HSB)
15:00 After the railway excitement of Welshpool came to Bishop's Castle for an open gardens event. After completing the gardens in the lower town we came here for refreshment before tackling the steep climb to the upper town. Made immediately welcome by the barmaid and the one local sat at the bar. Discussion ensued on the best pubs in Shrewsbury and the pronunciation of said town. Shrow or Shrew. Class distinction evidently.
