11:45 Our monthly outing for a group of old railwaymen. One of our party had visited recently and recommended a visit. I last came here in 1993 and the place was unrecognisable from then. We initially had the pub to ourselves but from 12:30 onwards it very quickly filled up with diners.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Elgood's - Cambridge Bitter3.80AcceptableNot much condition.
Crafty Beers - Sauvignon Blond4.40AcceptableUnfiltered - unpasteurised. Very fruity taste. Formed a scummy head which normally indicates not very fresh.
Lacons - Affinity4.80PoorOne of those occasions when you keep thinking has it gone or is it me. The last mouthful proved it wasn't me.
