12:45 A good halfway house on our journey from Southport to Norfolk. Good food, good beer and a friendly welcome. Just been awarded Cask Marque accreditation, and a chat with the Guvnor revealed why. He really knows how to look after beer.

19th century building, adjacent to a basin on the Grand Union Canal, that only opened as a pub in the 1980s. Seating area by the bar with two other rooms one on a lower level behind the bar.
