These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

thebrewingman | 06 Nov 2011 | Excellent Dark Ale. Pump clip said it was Eclipse Cascadian Dark Ale brewed for Spoons by an American brewer. The Everards web site says they brewed it. |

oz11 | 07 Oct 2011 | Can't find out where in the UK this was brewed, if anyone knows for sure I will edit this entry accordingly. Good beer. Edited to reflect who brewed it. | |
Martin the Mildman | 05 Oct 2011 | Brewed at Everards, but the American brewer was stuck in the USA because of hurricane Irene! Red/brown in colour, quite bitter with citrus notes but not much in the way of dark malt flavour. Dry, bitter finish. My score 14/20 with B for quality - served flat with no condition and slightly too cold. |
