Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Hogan SamplingExcellent24 Aug 2024 Now badged as produced by the Wharf Brewery. Also in cask conditioned bottles on shelving in this micro among other brews by them as well. Good head and hoppy aftertaste.

26 Furnival Street (formerly The Castle), Chancery Lane, Central London

Stephen HarrisPoor28 Jan 2013 Ouch, this was horrible. Cold, thin, very fruity, tangy and a slight nose of vinegar – i.e., it was on the turn. Some underlying roastiness.

The Wellington, Birmingham, West Midlands
