Stephen Harris | 19 Jan 2013 | On keg dispense. A beer of this strength can survive the kegging process well. Served by the third pint, in a brandy glass, it is easily warmed and de-gassed in the hand. It is a fabulous beer with complex flavours. Black in colour, it has a subtle spiciness that may come from Belgian yeast. There are also fruity flavours. But the winner is the strong glow that comes from aging in Invergordon Whisky casks. |
