IanExcellent10 Mar 2006 According to the ratings on Ratebeer, this is the most highly rated beer in England. Golden, with lasting white head. Certainly nice. Sweaty, soapy citrus hop aroma. US style hop aroma. Fullish in mouth. Good citrus, some Turkish Delight/red fruit. Nettley hop finish. Juicy in mouth. I suppose there's a touch of sweetness from the alcohol. Could be crisper. Very similar to the normal Brewer's Gold bitter I've had at this pub which I gave a 5/5
