Stephen Harris		31 Jan 2017	This beer clearly needs more work, this being the last knockings of a first brew from December last year. It is a very thick, cloudy, amber colour (the next brew will be fined with gelatine). There are good, orangey flavours from the Chinook hops. But there is also a medicinal/phenol taint which the brewer thinks comes from the very alkaline water used here – to be chemically balanced in the next brew.
