Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Hogan SamplingGood17 Jan 2026 1st beer of this visit: Very good head and lacing presented and lasting on this East London brew from an independent brewery founded in Leyton in 2011. Made with Azacca and Amarillo hops, hence its full name. A hoppy fruited first hit with citrusy and tropical touches. A zesty hoppiness rising with notes of orange and lemon from its Amarillo. A good fruity note aided by its notably mango flavouring from also its Azacca hops. A light maltiness getting in on the act. A citrusy bitterness shunting out in many a goods' wagon for my taste buds.
