Hogan SamplingGood28 Mar 2026 3rd beer of this visit: Good head and lacing lasting all the way on this East Sussex best bitter from the independent, family-run brewery and taproom located in the scenic Wealden valley at Burwash, east of Robertsbridge. A fruity bittered first hit. A dry bitterness winning through with a biscuity maltiness from its blend of 7 different grains. A fruity hoppiness pervading from its three British varieties: UK Pioneer, UK-grown Cascade and Jester, and lasting in its passage out. In good condition and very quaffable.
