Hogan Sampling		12 Apr 2025	Minimal head and lacing on this Derbyshire IPA now on its fourth night. A dry resinous first hit. An oily hoppiness in the mouthfeel with the odd berry flavouring. A slight maltiness lingering.

Hogan Sampling		10 Apr 2025	Second night on for this IPA from north-west of Bakewell in Derbyshire. Just a half to finish with and still holding its head and lacing well. A very resinous first hit. A hoppy oiliness in the mouthfeel and the odd berry flavouring coming to the fore. A dry hoppy aftertaste lasted well.

Hogan Sampling		05 Dec 2024	Good head and lacing on this Derbyshire-based brewery's IPA. A woody, resinous first hit. Not a sweet but an oily mouthfeel and a moreishly dry aftertaste.

Philip Pirrip		04 Dec 2024	4½* Not far from a 5 mark. Thornbridge quality, a mass of ingredients and the pub had kept this in the cellar for some weeks before broaching it
Hogan Sampling		03 Dec 2024	Good head and lacing. A dry but sweet mouthfeel with some fruitiness involved such as berries. According to the tasting notes, it has cedar-like hop aromas to balance the maltiness. A woody flavour did also come through.

Philip Pirrip		25 Aug 2024	A long awaited chance to sample this ale. A very fine concoction marked as served. After multiple decantings between two pint glasses it brought out more head and lacing and nose and would have been 4.5
