Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 26 Apr 2025 | This IPA from Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, and south-west of King's Lynn, certainly set about reviving me! A bitter and citrus-fruit infused first hit in this West Coast-style IPA. Made with Maris Otter and Crystal malts, a woody hoppiness leapt up from its pine, citrus and spicy flavourings. A resinous hint lingered well into the bitter aftertaste. Very refreshing it was and so suitably revived after all the walking and climbing over stiles. Just The Little Brown Jug to do next before train to Tonbridge's The Nelson Arms. |
