Hogan SamplingGood09 May 2025 8th beer: Said to be Scotland's original plough-to-pint brewery, it began brewing as Scottish Borders Brewery in 2011, using its own barley. Then became Born in the Borders Brewery, and then Born Brewery in 2020. This red ale was presented with good head and lacing and lasting. A very dry bitter first hit on this Scottish red from north-west of Jedburgh. A honey-infused hoppiness from the French hop, Barbe Rouge, and red and citrus fruited-infusions then rose up in the mouthfeel and lingered on.
