These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Hogan SamplingExcellent26 Jul 2025 Very good head and lacing with a creaminess on top to die for. The side of the glass holding its lacing to the end of this porter's stunning performance. A ginger-infused first bite on this brewery's porter. Tatton has now teamed up with Kent's Wantsum Brewery at St Nicholas-at-Wade from June 2024. This was due to not surviving its ever-rising operating costs in Knutsford, south-west of Manchester, but where it brewed for some 14 years. A treacle-flavouring rising up on my taste buds. A hint of dark chocolate and a smoky malt or two alongside a dry bitterness prevailing to the end and very moreish!
