WhoScoreWhenNotes
Hogan SamplingGood20 Dec 2025 1st beer of this visit: Good head and lacing and lasting on this dark amber ale from Tatsfield on the Kent/Surrey borders, north-east of Oxted. A dry bitter first hit. A hoppy bitterness leaping up with good lashings of caramel rising. A malty note or two from its Maris Otter, Crystal and Amber malts abseiling from the branches of the Christmas tree with a subtle sweetness. A hoppy bitterness winning over on its final leg with a mix of the English hops, Goldings and Bramling, lending it an earthy and herbal lingering taste. It was on very good form on this visit from this small microbrewery set up in 2017.
