Hogan SamplingExcellent08 May 2026 10th and final beer of the festival visit: Presented with some head and lacing but not overly lasting. A smoky first hit on this oatmeal stout from Thirsty Moose Brewing, a family-run microbrewery located at Galaxy Business Park, set up in August 2022 in Blaydon-on-Tyne, Tyne and Wear in North East England. A dry bitterness rising with a touch of maltiness veering up with oatmeal flavours from its mix of malted barley, including dark roasted malts and flaked oats. Hints of chocolate, coffee and light charcoal joining in. A dry but fruited bitterness winning over before the sailing out. Served in top nick!
