BlairGood07 Mar 2008 It’s dark brown in colour with an aroma of roasted malt. The flavour is also mostly roast with some smokiness and bitterness on the finish. Not bad at all.

The Guildhall, Folkestone, Kent

AndrewPoor25 Oct 2007 Black, off white head. Burnt malt and that's it. Not off just 1 dimensional and harsh.

IanAcceptable20 Oct 2006 Very deep ruby, with bubbly beige head. Maybe I have got to get used to UK yeasts and beers again after 2 weeks in the Pacific North West. Some nice choc malts. bit of charcoal. Some dark fruits. Just lacks depth and body.
