Ian | | 24 Jul 2008 | Like many of the beers here, I think this could be overly vented and oxidised. I realise that now thanks to MagicDave6 from Ratebeer who now runs a 'Spoons in North London. A deliciously dark beer. Good earthy hop and rich rich malt. |
Ian | | 27 Feb 2008 | Deep ruby, lasting dark beige head. Cracking condition. Amazingly complex malt with earthy hoppy finish. Rich malts are both juicy and dry. Christmas cake flavours and an almost sherry like quality. Earthy dry hoppiness on finsh balances the malt perfectly. Superb |

Ian | | 02 Feb 2007 | Ruby colour beer with thin beige head. Bit of an ash tray aroma, with some sweaty sox hop. I had this down more like a brown ale than anything else, but it was very drinkable and a good beer to close out the first day of the festival. |
