Martin the MildmanGood07 May 2011 Amber mild despite the pumpclip saying Original Bitter. Formerly known as Light, this is low hopped with a little biscuity malt. The finish is fairly dry with some fruit. My score 15/20.

The Gatekeeper (formerly The New Inn), Etchinghill, Kent

WittendenGood21 Mar 2009 Is it a light mild, is it a bitter?I dunno, but I enjoyed it, and could well have made it a session. An initial pronounced hop effect, which rapidly was replaced by a mellow fruitiness. Mid brown . Yes, I suppose I could place it alongside Courage's PBA, drunk in this very pub too many years ago.

IanAcceptable20 Oct 2007 Copper, thin lasting bubbly beige head. Slightly yeasty, decent light bitter, in good condition, fine, interesting for a light bitter.
