ChrisEExcellent24 Jul 2010 I came to Whitstable to try and find this as I had never tried it. This is a dark creamy ale brewed with a handful of fresh oysters in the boil. It is available in selected Shepherd Neame pubs during the oyster festival.

Kent Beer Festival 2008, Canterbury, Kent

WhoScoreWhenNotes
AndrewExcellent19 Jul 2008 Good condition, black, smoaky, burnt and with a hint of sweetness.
IanGood18 Jul 2008 Black, dark brown edges. Nice coffee-ish stout, roasty, really quite good for a Shep's beer, no real Shep's yeast. Not a lot of oyster, bit of fullness and richness on end maybe. It's reasonably light in the body. Tasty though.
