Ian | 23 Aug 2008 | Great to see this on cask as in bottle it is one of my favourite hoppy beers. Hazy gold, thin lasting white head. Far less hoppy on cask. Yes, it's hoppieer than usual for a Belgian beer, but the Chinooks and Amarillos don't sing. Lacks fullness in mouth. It's a bit like a hoppy blond, hops are a bit dusty on the finish instead of being sparkling. It's fine, but as I say, I want the hops to sing. |
