Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

McGargleGood17 Feb 2011 After an initial overkill of coffee this settles down into a well balanced creamy stout.

IanPoor29 Oct 2010 Black colour. Lasting dark beige head. Coffee, like a coffee chocolate from a chocolate box. Or coffee cake or coffee icing on a coffee cake. It's not a double espresso more like a capuccino and I don't like milk in my coffee. It's no Weasel. To be honest half way through the pint I was sick of it. Eventually had to stick some bourbon in it otherwise it was pretty much undrinkable. Better with the bourbon, but still not my thing.
