First pub of Ian and my tour of Tonbridge. Empty except for lots of staff. We sat by the window looking down the street.

I had not been here for many years, and I was saddened to see that this once great boozer was mostly laid out for dining with just a small area for drinking. Now appears to be down to just one hand pump.

Full of drinkers mostly at 8 pm when we had a table booked but by 11 pm we were almost the only ones left. Must be a fuelling stop on the way to somewhere else.
