Stephen HarrisExcellent20 Oct 2017 A really very good Porter.
Stephen HarrisExcellent04 Sep 2012 Dark ruby red in colour, almost black. Smooth, a bit smoky, fruity and creamy. Dry finish.

IanAcceptable31 Mar 2006 Dark ruby colour with thin white head. Choc/coffee aroma, fruity in mouth, plums and red fruit. Dry finish. Fruit sweetness lingers. Damson/plum on aroma too. Fruit is really distinctive. Not so much a porter compared with the Harvey's or Fuller's of the afternoon, but nice enough
IanGood22 Feb 2005 Black in colour. Burnt malt on nose. Burnt malt in mouth with some fruit. Long dry flavoursome hop bitter finish

HSBExceptional12 Sep 2015 Probably the best attempt at a real porter that I have tasted. Rich, roasted flavour, bitter and with a hint of sourness.
