Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

IanPoor14 Nov 2007 Rich reddy chestnut, lasting beige head. Bit of a malty sweet syrupy aroma. Hop is a little bleachy and out of touch with rest of beer. Doesn't really go anywhere.

The Market Porter, Southwark, Central London

IanGood15 Jul 2006 Almost black, ruby colour with pale beige head. Tarry, dark malts. Best 3 Rivers beer I think that I have had. Bit of charcoal. Soft in mouth. I liked it.
