Back to see if there are any Green Hop beers left.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Pig & Porter - Green Hop Percy Percy6.00GoodOdd. Quite pleasant though.
Pomona Island - APA Ekuanot/Chinook5.30GoodClear, pale gold. Bitter fruit hop flavours.
Little Earth Project (formerly Mill Green) - Green Hop Grisette 2019 (First Gold)3.90GoodFrom key-keg, although typically for Little Earth it has zero carbonation. Crisp and tart.
Little Earth Project (formerly Mill Green) - Green Hop Grisette 2019 (Northdown)3.90AcceptableFrom key-keg. This one has a significant brett flavour that is stretching my tolerance.

East London (ELB) - Walthamstow Beer - Green Hopped Table Beer3.50GoodThis one has more of a wild hop character.
Round Corner - Brewjolais4.70GoodKegged Green Hop beer.
Five Points - Green Hop Bullion3.70Acceptable2019 version very sharp. Perhaps it will mellow a bit.

Early evening.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Five Points - Best Goldings Hops4.10ExcellentMuch the rarer of Five Points' two Best Bitters. And it's on great form, the Goldings hops in such profusion that the beer has a bit of a marmalade flavour.

Opening time visit. I'm the third customer of the afternoon. Like the two in before me, I order a pint of Porter. Not for nothing is this beer an award winner.

Five Points - DIPA7.80ExcellentFrom keg dispense. Heavyweight IPA.
Five Points - Summer Wit5.30GoodFrom keg dispense. A great, Belgian-style Witbier. Has a perfumed quality and a spicy edge.

The pub is found in Hackney, Greater London, E8 1JH.

This pub was built in around 1866 and for many years was a Trumanís house. By the 1970s it was best known as a live music venue, with a large hall to the rear (which has now been converted to residential use). The pub was refurbished in 1983 and by 1986 had been acquired by Banks & Taylor Brewery. Closed for five and a half years from 1998, it re-opened but led a precipitous existence until acquired by Milton Brewery in 2006. In May 2018 the keys passed to the nearby Five Points Brewery. It is a large, stone and brick building on a busy junction near Hackney Downs and Central railway stations. The long wooden bar has 6 handpumps (down from 16 in Miltonís time). There is a bar billiards table, a pizza kitchen and a small outside seating area beside the road junction.

We have visited this pub 65 times, seen 212 different beers and tried 144 of them.
