IanExcellent27 Feb 2006 After 4 days of heavy Belgian beers, this came as a real relief. I was expecting the worst, but this all but restored my faith in British bitters. Copper colour with beige head. Hey this isn’t bad. Some red fruit in the aroma along with hop and faint yeast. Fullish in mouth helped by good malts with pleasant slightly sweet strawberries which then carry on to balance the dry finish. Very good bitter
