No noisy crowds in for mid Sunday afternoon just the low background conversation noise and the occasional clunking of cutlery and plates made for a relaxed atmosphere.

Have been away a couple of weeks cycling through France and this was my first real ale for nearly 3 weeks. Festival on and my CAMRA vouchers brought it down to £1.49 a pint. A bit different from my last pint in a Belgian bar in Nice at €11 a pint. Just noted 3 of the festival ales.
