| Hogan Sampling |  | 30 May 2026 | 2nd beer of this visit: Very good head and lasting lacing presented on this IPA from Tatsfield, Surrey, and where brewing grew out of a farm shed at the nearby Botley Hill Farmhouse in 2017. Here served on one of the two handpumps on the bar counter from its cask in the cellar below. A fruity bitter first sweep across my taste buds. A bitterness bristling up from its traditional bittering hops, balanced by its malted barley, wheat and oats. Touches of grapefruit and citrus from its New World American hops, added later in the fermenting process, swishing on my palate. An apple-infused hoppy bitterness raking downwards with subtle hints of passionfruit. Served in very good nick. |

| Hogan Sampling | | 14 Dec 2024 | Good head and lacing on this session IPA from Titsey Brewing at Tatsfield, Westerham, and on the Kent and Surrey border. It had a lightly fruity, hoppy mouthfeel with a dry aftertaste making it very moreish. Could easily have done more than one half! |
