BlairExcellent11 Apr 2009 Yes this was really lovely. A nice light old ale to start the day. Smoky with a little coffee and roasted malt.

IanExcellent03 Oct 2005 Dark ruby colour with lasting thin beige head. Choc/coffee nose. Smooth in mouth. Good flavour carries on with goodish finish with is just a little it short. Would have picked this as a stout rather than an old ale.

Cotleigh Buzzard

4.80% ABV.

A strong and warming winter ale available between September and March each year, Old Buzzard is a traditional dark ale brewed with dark roasted malt and English whole hops. With a flavour reminiscent of ales gone by, Old Buzzard has won many accolades, ha.

We have tried this beer 10 times.

We have given this beer an average score of Good to Excellent.
